Middle Search Plus
Designed for middle schoolers, this database contains full text for more than 150 popular, middle school magazines, full-text biographies and historical essays. In addition, it includes primary source documents, reference books and a vast image collection.

Points of View
This resource is designed to provide students with essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. The database provides 200 topics, each with an overview, point (argument) and counterpoint (opposing argument).

Harvard offers a variety of online courses both for free and at a certain prices. Course lengths range from 2 to 6 weeks. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, computer science, opera by century, religion and more!

Khan Academy
Free online courses covering a wide range of subjects including AP and SAT/ACT test prep. Narrow down courses by grade and subject.

New Jersey Career Assistance Navigator
A free web-based career navigation system, funded by the New Jersey Department of Education, that provides comprehensive information for middle and high school students to develop well informed college and career plans. It includes tools that encourage self-assessment, career and post-secondary education exploration, goal setting, and decision making. Teach yourself how to code with Scratch. You can program your own interactive stories, games, and animations — and share your creations with others in the online community.

TED-Ed Lessons
All of these mini TED talks are less than 10 minutes and full of interesting and trivial information. Narrow down videos by area of interest (the arts, science and technology, psychology and more). Find out who the world's first author was or contemplate the meaning of life.

Webmath is a math-help web site that generates answers to specific math questions and problems, as entered by a user, at any particular moment. The math answers are generated and displayed real-time, at the moment a web user types in their math problem and clicks "solve." In addition to the answers, Webmath also shows the student how to arrive at the answer.
