Register to Vote

Online Voter Registration Application
To register to vote online, you will need a current and valid Driver's License or a non-driver Identification Card issued by the NJ MVC or a Social Security number.

Voter Registration Paper Application
Select your county, download the application, and send it to the County Commissioner of Registration or Superintendent of Elections for your county.

Check your Voter Registration Status
Enter your name and date of birth to search for your voter registration record.

Where to Vote

Vote by Mail Drop Boxes
The State of New Jersey is providing Vote by Mail drop boxes for each county.  There will be 13 locations throughout the county that will be available 24/7 through the close of polls.  The locations will be well lit and be monitored by video surveillance cameras.

Enter your address to find where you can vote in person.

Early Voting Center
At the Early Voting Center, voters will be issued a ballot, allowed to vote it and have it accepted all in the same visit.

Request Replacement Vote by Mail Ballot
Request a replacement ballot if:

  • ​You never received your ballot
  • Your ballot is ripped, torn or damaged
  • Your ballot was not voted correctly
  • Your ballot was misplaced

Track My Ballot
Follow the link above to track the progress of your mail-in ballot. If you haven't already, you will need to create a Voter Record Account (you can use your Voter ID, NJ Driver's License Number, or the last 4 digits of your Social Security number to sign up).

Declare Party Affiliation
If you would like to declare party affiliation, download the online form at the link above, print it, and mail it to the Elections and Archive Center.

Poll Worker Application
The Division of Elections, within the New Jersey Department of State, is seeking New Jersey citizens to assist by serving as board workers. Training is required and will be provided. If you are interested, please fill out the online application.
