Tierney began her work at the Cherry Hill Public Library in 2008 as a Reference Librarian, and since 2016 has served as Reference & Adult Services Supervisor. She holds a BA in English from The College of New Jersey and a Masters in Library Science from Indiana University, Bloomington. She is professionally focused on sustainability and the environment, mental health awareness, and feminism in literature.

Deena has been a part of the Cherry Hill Public Library staff since 2013, beginning as a library assistant in the Youth Services department and currently serving as the Supervisor of Outreach and Diversity. You may see Deena out in the Cherry Hill community creating library cards and promoting library events and services. She holds a BA in Government from Smith College and received her MSLIS from Drexel University. In 2016, she was named a Rising Star by the New Jersey Library Association in recognition of her creative programming and outreach initiatives. Look for Deena in or out of the library to chat about LGBTQ+ books and resources, professional wrestling, women-authored graphic novels, and whatever color her hair is this month.

As our Emerging Technologies Librarian, T.J. coordinates and leads many of the computer classes we offer here at the Cherry Hill Public Library. T.J. earned his Master of Library and Information Sciences degree from Drexel University. If you're interested in testing out our 3D Printer, discussing Computer Science, or looking for Sci-Fi/Fantasy recommendations to read, ask for T.J. at the Reference Desk.

Jasmine has worked at the Cherry Hill Public Library since 2015, having been a part-time Library Assistant to the Youth Services Department until 2019, when she joined the Adult Services Department as a full-time librarian. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education & Voice from Westminster Choir College and a Master of Information degree from Rutgers University, with a concentration in School Library Media Specialization. She is especially passionate Young Adult Literature (which she reviews for Kirkus Reviews), Romance novels, diversity & inclusivity in literature and librarianship, bringing more musical programming to CHPL, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Outside of CHPL, she is a singer for various parishes in the South Jersey area, including the Diocese of Camden.

Claire joined the adult services department in early 2015. She holds a BA in history from William and Mary, an MA in American History from Rutgers University-Camden, and an MLIS from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Claire has enriched the Adult Services department with her creation of our Adult Summer Reading Program, Seed Library, and Veteran's Wall of Honor photography exhibit. In her free time, Claire knits complicated sweaters, plays open-world video games, and watches horror movies. If you have questions about history or genealogical research, or if you want book recommendations (especially literary fiction and horror), Claire is the person to visit at the Reference Desk.

Elby holds her MA in Education from the University of Kansas and MS in Library Science from Clarion University. In 2018, Elby was the recipient of the 2018 New Jersey Library Association's Rising Star Award for her work toward creating our beloved ESL learning program. In the same year, Elby and her hard-working volunteer ESL instructors were named the recipients of the NJLA Service award for their exceptional service to a New Jersey library. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rowan University and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from Clarion University. Amanda manages and coordinates various programs at the Cherry Hill Public Library including our monthly book club and Comic Con. During her time at the Cherry Hill Public Library, Kim has worked as a part-time librarian both in Youth Services and Reference. When she is not at her full-time job as the school library media specialist at Sharp Elementary School, she likes to travel, walk and eat out at fun restaurants. She particularly likes elevated bar food! A former resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia, she misses her mountains, but does appreciate being close to the beaches of South Jersey. She also likes the wonderful museums in Philadelphia. She roots for the Eagles when she is not rooting for the Redskins!

Kristin began working at Cherry Hill Public Library in Adult Services in 2004. Since 2006 she has worked in the Youth Services department as well, running many children’s story times per month. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University and a Master of Library and Information Science from Rutgers University. Kristin coordinates the Needlework Guild meetings at the library in addition to story times. She especially enjoys Readers’ Advisory and matching people up with the right book.

Kelly joined the Adult Services staff in 2019. She holds her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Cincinnati and Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She has lived in four states and worked in five library systems, most recently as a Youth Services librarian at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh before moving to Cherry Hill. When she's not at the Reference Desk, she enjoys getting outdoors with her family and dog.
