Run by NJ Dept of Labor, provides users direct access to career navigation resources, including interactive tools and useful resources such as a directory of training programs, information on hundreds of careers, and advice and guidance on a wide variety of topics. In addition, the website will help job seekers learn how to network, find employment, and prepare for interviews.

Occupational Outlook Handbook
The US Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes the Occupational Outlook Handbook, which can help job seekers “find career information on duties, education and training, pay, and outlook for hundreds of occupations.” The book is available in the non-circulating reference collection under the call number 331.702 UNI. GCF Learn Free
From Microsoft Office and email to reading, math, and more, GCFLearnFree.org, developed by the Goodwill Community Foundation, offers more than 180 topics, including more than 2,000 lessons, 800+ videos, and 55+ interactives and games, completely free.

Submit a request for an appointment online, over the phone, or in person, and be matched with one of our skilled reference librarians for a one-hour appointment. The service is available Monday through Friday during operational hours. Weekend appointments are available only by special arrangement.
Note: Librarians will not be able to write resumes, but can check spelling, grammar, and assist with formatting.
Our Community Job Board, located in the Library’s Main Reading Room, has a variety of job postings, internships and volunteer opportunities. Most positions are based in Cherry Hill and vary from entry-level minimum wage to high-salary professional positions. The board is updated weekly and postings are taken down after a month.
