Homeschoolers, we are your school library! We are happy to offer a variety of resources for you both at the library and from home.

The Mailbox School & District
The Mailbox is a resource created by Educators for Educators teaching or homeschooling in grades Pre-K to 6. It is packed with more than 52,000 engaging ideas, activities, and worksheets that help inspire imaginations while teaching essential skills.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
1000 Books Before Kindergarten is an ongoing early literacy program which encourages families with children ages 0 to 5 to read to their children every day. The concept is simple and the rewards are priceless! Visit our 1000 Books page for more information and sign your child up in person or print out an application online and turn it in to the Youth Services desk. You will need a CHPL library card to register.

Homeschool groups are welcome to schedule a visit to the library for a tour, story time, and/or research session, depending upon scheduling availability. Please allow 4-6 weeks lead time.
