Do you love anything related to manga and anime? Come hang out with other fans, watch anime, trade book/movie suggestions, and enjoy great snacks and crafts inspired by anime culture.

Cold Weather Company Concert

Enjoy an afternoon performance by New Jersey based band, Cold Weather Company, comprised of pianist and Cherry Hill native Steve Shimchick and guitarists Brian Curry and Jeff Petescia. Included in NJ.com's list of "31 New Jersey Bands You Need to Hear in 2019," their music creatively mixes a variety of styles including folk, indie rock, alternative and classical. If you like bands like Coldplay, Mumford & Sons or The Decemberists, you will love Cold Weather Company. All of their music can be heard on Spotify. Contact Jasmine Riel at (856) 903-1226 or jriel@chplnj.org for details.

Kaleidoscope Meetup

A safe and friendly get-together for LGBTQ youth and their allies. Supervised by background checked and fingerprinted adults, endorsed by PFLAG of Collingswood, the program is under the supervision of the nonprofit Center for Family Services. This amazing new database offers thousands of award-winning instructional video tutorials on arts and crafts that you can watch from home for free with your CHPL library card! From learning how to crochet or knit for the first time to creating your own planner from scratch, there is an abundance of exciting and engaging creative endeavors here for you to discover. 

Just for Kids Video Database
Enjoy Just For Kids' streaming collection of kid-friendly and educational videos from home! There are plenty of television shows for older kids to enjoy as well as homework helpful videos on a variety of topics for you to study including science, math and geography.

 

Children's and Young Adult Materials are fine free as of November 1st, 2018!
We are very excited to implement this positive change for our patrons, especially our younger ones! We encourage parents and caregivers to teach children that a public library is a community resource shared by everyone and that returning materials on time is all about sharing responsibly!

Any past late fees will remain on your account. Please visit a library service desk for payment so you can take advantage of our new fine free lending!
Any items checked out before November will still accrue late fees (even if the due date is after November 1).
