Whether you’re looking to earn some community service hours or just want to make a difference, here are a few ways to get involved at CHPL!

Adult Volunteers are needed year round to help with specially scheduled library events as well as many positions throughout the Library. Volunteering is also a great way to build your resume and earn community service hours. Volunteer Opportunities for Teens

Teen Activity Board (TAB)

The teen voice at CHPL! TAB is a small group of teens in grades 7-12 who assist the Library's Teen Department. We help at teen programs, create displays and book lists, and plan events for the Library's teen community. Accepting new members for the 2018-2019 school year. Click here to access the application.

Community Service Power Hour
Attend these drop-in sessions to earn volunteer credit and help the Youth Services Department with a variety of projects and tasks. Visit our online calendar for upcoming Power Hours or call the Teen Department at 856-903-1208.

You can become a Shelf Manager after you attend Shelf Manager Training. After you are trained, you can sign up for shelf managinjg shifts throughout the year and basically make your own schedule! Please check the online calendar for the next Shelf Manager Training.
