Volunteer Opportunities

Whether you’re looking to earn some community service hours or make a difference, there are a few ways to get involved at the Cherry Hill Public Library.

Adult Volunteers

Adult volunteers, over 18 years of age, are needed year round to help with specially scheduled library events and other positions throughout the Library. Volunteering is also a great way to build your resume and earn community service hours.

To apply to be an adult volunteer, please print and fill out a Volunteer Application. Applications can be mailed or submitted to Meredith Meyer, our Volunteer Coordinator in the Administrative Office. She can be reached at (856) 903-1234 or mmeyer@chplnj.org

Mail your application to:

Teen Volunteers

We have various opportunities for students ages 12 to 18 (grades 6-12) to volunteer. Students can use their volunteer hours here toward school credits.

Some of the opportunities offered include:

  • Shelf managing our bookshelves in the Youth Services Department
  • Assisting with programs for kids and teens
  • Preparing crafts
  • Being a member of the CHPL Teen Activity Board

Visit our Teen Volunteering page for more information or contact our Teen Librarian, Melissa Brinn, at (856) 903-1208 or mbrinn@chplnj.org
