Melissa began working at the Library as a volunteer in 2009, became a library clerk the same year while pursuing her MLIS at Rutgers University, and served as the Teen Librarian from 2011-2020. Her reading interests include graphic novels, YA books with LGBTQ+ characters/authors, and teen true crime thrillers. She is also an alumni of Cherry Hill East ('05). 


Lindsey Murphy, Master of Library & Information Science

Lindsey holds a BA in History from James Madison University and a MLIS from Drexel University. She has been working part-time at CHPL since 2008 and also works in the Haddonfield School System.  When not working in libraries she likes to go to the beach, eat delicious food and dream of places to travel to. Come see Lindsey at the Youth Services Desk for realistic fiction and celebrity memoir recommendations. 


Kristin Redmond, Master of Library & Information Science

Kristin began working at Cherry Hill Public Library in Adult Services in 2004. Since 2006 she has worked in the Youth Services department as well, running many children’s story times per month. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University and a Master of Library and Information Science from Rutgers University. Kristin coordinates the Needlework Guild meetings at the library in addition to story times. She especially enjoys Readers’ Advisory and matching people up with the right book.

Jasmine Riel (she/her/hers), Master of Information

Jasmine has worked at the Cherry Hill Public Library since 2015. Prior to becoming the full-time Teen Services Librarian, she has served as a part-time Library Assistant to Youth Services and as a full-time Adult Services Librarian. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College and a Master of Information degree from Rutgers University, with a concentration in School Library Media Specialization. She is especially passionate about Young Adult Literature (which she reviews for Kirkus Reviews), romance novels, diversity & inclusivity in literature and librarianship, bringing more musical programming to CHPL, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Outside of CHPL, she is a singer for various parishes in the South Jersey area, including the Diocese of Camden.
